I am honestly not looking forward to DS3. It looks kinda, well, meh to be honest. I don't like the inclusion of human enemies or universal ammo pick-ups either. It just doe not look all that appealing.

Indeed. Saw people "exploding" over the reasons stated by Sven, but anyone who's actually PLAYED the game knows why text is stored as graphics in many cases and why this is basically essential for the game's style. At least Lost Planet 3's getting an English release and it's looking awesome and the cutscene dialog in what they've shown so far has been pretty sweet too (which CAN NOT be said for any and all dialog in Lost Planet 1-2, except from the speech in Lost Planet 2's orbital drop)Originally posted by aris13 View PostEX Troopers looked awesome, too bad it'll never leave Japan.Last edited by Carnivol; 12-26-2012, 06:25 AM.

So.. any thoughts on PC ver (especially in regard to co-op)? My PS3 only works for games from PSN store (no blu-rays) and I don't play it anyway. The last two Dead Space games on PC were excellent and some of the only "modern" games I've enjoyed recently.
Just been playing Natural Selection 2 which has a sort of similar Aliens/Dead Space feel, frigging awesome when you're in a good team defending a base as marines..

Played it, enjoyed it a lot. The weapon making function is simple but addictive, and an interesting replacement to the alt fire mode from the first two. I haven't played mulitplayer yet, but the single game was fine. The humans fighting you don't last long, and the necromorphs with guns are truly awful shots.
Well done, Visceral Games. You get my money.

Demo exceed my expectations. Never even thought of how the outdoor/snow environment could be abused by the necromorphs until they started popping up everywhere.
Also, that "PS: DON'T FORGET ABOUT STASIS!" reminder in the demo was just hectically nice, even on the locked Normal difficulty of the demo.
Yet to see how co-op fares, but I guess people without friends now at least finally realizes how the game doesn't fool around in single player and only introduces char 2 to theparty if there's actually a second player. (So no AI buddies to save the day for you ammo wasting wuzzies!)

Pretty much. There was no sign of the brooding new Space Marine guy who tags along in co-op. I'm intrigued to play multi-player to see how big the changes are - my only concern at this point is that the single player campaign is the 'story lite' version and they simply chop all the cool bits that would happen with another player, rather than modify or replace them.

It's Dead Space w/snow and optional co-op.Originally posted by Member_of_STARS View PostQuestion I have, to whomever has had the taste so far- is it RE: Outbreak or RE4?
Like Darkmoon said; been there since Dead Space 1, still present in Dead Space 2, been in EA titles since the Godfather, been a perfecitonized money making micro-transaction machine like no other since Ultimate Team was added to FIFA, no reason to exclude Dead Space 3 from a bit of microtransaction fun.Originally posted by Dracarys View Post
