          I was initially excited about this game but every time I see something new about it, the more my interest level drops. I'll wait and pick this up once it's cheap. If it's anything like AVP (which it looks like), it won't take long.

            Looks pretty cack, I see they put a season pass up on Steam.. that means its gonna suck. Literally, suck you in before you realize.

              Not really hyped for the game as much as hoping that maybe it's a notable improvement over AvP (the recent games)

                I have to admit, the little easter eggs dotted around are lovely and the environments look cool. Not sure why the aliens seem to 'pop' in a ridiculous explosion of acid though.

                Still stoked for this. I'm not expecting the greatest game ever but just to step into that universe and explore that place...

                  The multiplayer honestly does look a bit fun. I wish there was a Queen option instead of a Crusher for the Aliens in multi. That was one of the things I loved back in AVP2 on PC.

                  The campaign though, yeah.... Still not feeling it but I'll check it out once it drops in price.

                      Yup, aliens flying everywhere, being killed off no sweat, rushin' in scripted waves.

                        And most of the time you kill... humans. Also it seems weapons have no recoil whatsoever. Alien blood also doesn't hurt.

                          ^ Well, there is some acid damage. But only when you shoot them up close. Even Alien Trilogy on the Saturn/PS1 had acid injury from walking over it or being splattered even from a distance. How you can't be more dynamic in this day and age is beyond me.

                          I had hopes but I expected more disappointment like AVP 2010. Maybe if I keep thinking that I might find it better when I play it later this week.

                              Reminds me of those terrible later parts of the last game, stupid androids or whatever are not exiting. At least the sound effects appear to be correct. The weapon firing was totally wrong in some of the videos I've seen.

                              Does anyone else hate that looking down the sights thing in these games? That attachment on the rifle looks completely out of place.

                              On the point of acid burning - this preview claims the demo they played had it removed for "expediency"
