Video game boxart can say alot, I haven't ever bought a game because the box art looked nice but I certainly picked it up and looked into certain games. However looking back on some of my favorite games, I have to question...what the hell were they thinking. Here are some examples of the worst video gaming boxart/covers...ever.

Megaman 2 - Seriously wtf. Besides being blue that doesn't even look like megaman.



Resident Evil - Love the game but whats up with ...is that supposed to be Chris? Chris looks pretty dull in the game, generic male hero imagary at its best but the cover art of him is 10x worse.

it's even worse when such a great game has such a shameful boxart, only for one specific region ..





compared to that shit the EU and JP boxart is so classy.

At least they've gotten better. I really like the PAL version of RE4's box art.
