On Xbox LIVE, content usually seems to go online between 10am and 2pm GMT+1 time, at least...
No clue about PSN.
Played through the demo quite a few times now, just messing around the demo area, flying like a douche (like flying into the watch tower), checking out a few things (like to see if I could take the cannons down on foot in a hijacking-type of way - nope, not possible!) and just done some random test acrobatics and ramming into some walls and stuff... perfectly normal!
Anyway, I really like the gameplay, just wish the demo was a little bit more content heavy. Also like the camera lock functions. You can lock the camera in a direction and move independent of it or you can lock the camera on the nearest target. Might take a while to get used to if you're not good at thinking in 3D, but once you get used to it, you can both use it just to show off and make things look fancy and it also makes chasing enemies much easier (+dodging incoming projectiles during an escape)
The on-foot stuff is pretty much your standard 3rd person shooter gameplay w/default duck and cover mechanics, just with a very welcome jump and hover function slapped in.
(By the way, there are some caves and tunnels in the area + the core/center of the watch tower is sealed off, but is obviously one of those types of places that're designed for vertical combat... guess there might be plenty of asset copy pasta in the full game or the demo just cuts things really short.)
