I really hope not. I think they fucked him up enough in MPO. I could say the same for Big Boss in MGS4, though.

I agree. Never played MPO but from the sound of it they made it seem as if Fox was fated to be a ninja. I also agree that it's most likely Raiden, but the whole idea of overanalyzing is what aspects of MGS have become. Didn't they also "explain" Fox's real name, Frank Jaeger? That seems a little arbitrary, doesn't it?

They took the normal, exceptional soldier he was in MG and MG2 and turned him into a fucking freak child-ninja-prodigy named Null that spent his days in a tube before being released to fight Big Boss on the San Hieronymo peninsula. Frank Jaeger was a name given to him as a child soldier because they called him 'The Frank Hunter' because of the look on his face when he fought. Hunter is Jaeger in German.

People are saying the Mask (non-broken) is very similar to a mask you have to aquire in Snatcher to enter the nightclub Outer Heaven. I have Snatcher around here somewhere so will check it out at some point.

So possibly hinted at a Snatcher Remake. Which to be honest Kojima has always hinted at, given the Project S stuff that happened a couple of years ago - and the Snatcher Radio Play.

The Ninja is Sunny.

The exoskeleton is different, the face is more effeminate than Raiden's and the eyes are reddish/brown, just like Sunny (only one in the series with such eye colour, I believe).
