Code: Veronica without Chris and Wesker would be an absolute abomination. It's also not really possible.

Oh My God i just saw the God Of War III Trailer. That was fucking epic. I cannot wait for this game.
I wish my internet would download faster.
Well Barry was omitted from UC was he not? Who's to say capcom won't emit Chris? I mean who would be with Chris while he's on Rockfort? Wesker? Surely not Rodrigo, i mean if Rodrigo gets in but Barry does not them something is seriously wrong at capcom.Originally posted by aris13 View PostWhat are you talking about? Chris was in CV he has to appear in DSC. However he didn't appear in the new trailer......I'm getting worried.

Barry was just a side-kick, who, in original, if you play it "right", could do nothing important during the entire game and be killed in the middle of the game. Chris, on the other hand, is one of main characters of RECV. The entire second half of the game is about him. So you can't really compare those two.Originally posted by missvalentine View PostWell Barry was omitted from UC was he not? Who's to say capcom won't emit Chris?

Not impressed. As a matter of fact Im even further reassured that these devs dont have a clue about how to make a proper AVP experience. Couple of issues-
- Predator visor/HUD is completely different
- Predator vision modes are too forgiving, completely off the original games and original movies
- Predator handclaw (or whatchamacallit) obviously taken from Andersons movie
- Aliens scale is way too off to pose a psychological threat
- Plasmacaster aiming off again, it should lock on to targets that are clearly lockable in their own specific light spectrums
It looks as if these guys liked Andersons AVP more than the classic movies and went for this "cool" factor, to deliver a game to the younglings. So I dont expect a lot of brix to be shat in any of the games campaigns.
Two things I did like. Trophy kills and the fact that you can jump around. Unfortunately they were lazy about it and you cant really jump and cling to branches and trees as you would expect to do in real life, AVP2 did it a lot better.

Heavy Rain and Farenheit (Indigo Prophecy, if you prefer your heaten ways) are not linked or realted bar being a similar style of game by the same folks.Originally posted by missvalentine View PostI just watched the Heavy Rain trailer, it looks really cinematic, i want to check it out.
But would i have to play Indigo Prophesy first? Are they in the same series? I want to play Indigo Prophesy now too.
Also, someone hit me a link to the Heavy Rain video. That game is in my, 'Gonna fucking buy before it even comes out' category.

"So we're seeing the Predalien, which is from AvP2"
IS THAT THE BEST FUCKING SOURCE YOU COULD MENTION
also, the jumping from tree to tree mechanic to maintain stealth seems kind of odd, maybe it was just the guy playing it, but the controls seemed very wonky as well, shifting the camera etc i mean.

Thanks Darkmoon. I think ill try find a copy of Fahrenheit anyway if it's in the same style as Heavy Rain. I am intrigued by this game, i want to see how it plays so badly, it looks beautiful.Originally posted by Darkmoon View PostHeavy Rain and Farenheit (Indigo Prophecy, if you prefer your heaten ways) are not linked or realted bar being a similar style of game by the same folks.
