At least all shooters have different plots... that's what makes them unique.

And oh, yeah, forgot to mention:
I sent my first 360 in for repair now. It gave me a good 2 years before Star Trek - The Original Series on HD DVD bested it. It could only take 30 minutes of the first episode before it died.

Picked up a black Elite with a 120gb HDD, 'cause I needed an excuse to get a 120gb HDD anyway. (Now, what to do with that extra console... I want an Asian one too...)

    I couldn't agree more.

    So I figured I'd make a buyer's guide to Xbox 360:

    The grouping is:
    Top:
    Generic Shooters
    Middle:
    Lost
    Bottom:
    Shooters

Console #3 down. Constant freezing until it finally RROD'ed. Thankfully, I hear they are actually pushing out NEW, RROD resistant consoles to people. So I hope I get one of those.

I've had mine since the beginning of this year and so far ain't had any problems hardware wise, although at uni i did learn that the reason why they overheat a lot is because if their gpu/cpu cycle, but then again i hardly play on it because I have a fear that it will die on me and that will have been £275 wasted

I've had my xbox360 for like two weeks now and haven't had a problem at all, it doesn't heat, never froze and obviouslly has never had de RROD; so I think the problem of the 360 consols is fixed

    My 360 Elite died with the 3 red lights the other week ;_;

It was however in warranty and is now winging it's way back to me already! Things actually went smoothly on a 360 repair D:

I found this for fixing the 3 red rings of death "note: not the gayass towel trick ;-)"

    also just to note

Microsoft has found that the Nyko Intercooler 360 for the Xbox 360 draws the necessary power from the console to power the whole unit. This may lead to hardware failure, or the unit may burn. Users across various forums have reported that the Intercooler damaged their consoles beyond repair. Microsoft recommends against using unlicensed accessories such as the Intercooler. Nyko has since produced a new form of Intercooler which can be exchanged for free via customer service. The company has also provided new consoles to all the users who reported damage to their console.
