The first game sold well and was well received, makes sense Warner Bros would green light a sequel, im all for it so long as they keep to the stealth themed gameplay of the original and for gods sake NO FORCED BATMOBILE/BATJET SCENES!!! Keep it down to earth gameplay please.

I expect it'll be called Batman: Gotham City if they keep with the location subtitles, otherwise they'll come up with some crazy name.

you might be in luck with seeing catwoman roaming around gotham in the next game,
you can see her cat lurking near the iceberg lounge in the trailer

Glad to see this announced. AA was one of the best games this year and deserved a sequel with better villains. (Just saying, Scarecrow and Victor Szaas aren't exactly on the level of TwoFace, Penguin, etc. in terms of memorability)

Square Enix also owns 25% of the company if you didn't already know that.

I think it would be awesome to see a Batman game based around No Man's Land. The trailer for AA2 kind of made it looked like there's some sort of anarchy going on in Gotham City, and that's kinda like No Man's Land minus the massive earthquake of course xD.

Also, not sure if this has been mentioned, but do you think there may be multiplayer? I mean they could add in Robin/Nightwing easily to do that.

i wouldn't mind a couple co op missions added on as a side game, like nightwing helping batman in a mission or even the riddler...he's a good guy right now

                                Riddler, really?

I don't think he's a good guy. He never became so inclined in the game. I think if there was a villain type to work with Batman, Catwoman would be far more suited, due to their little attraction for each other and in the comics Catwoman has been an allie to Batsy once or twice.
