I'm not apologising for anything, I stand by what I said and while I could have been a little less floral with my choice of words I think my point still stands. In the interests of being civil and getting back on topic, you came across as something of a graphics whore if you'll pardon the phrase. Have you even sat down and played through the original game? It sounds to me like you've just seen a few screenshots, realised that it doesn't look as shiny as Human Revolution and lambasted it for that reason.

I'm not the only person who'll say this but the original Deus Ex is such a phenomenal game, which is why I'm eagerly anticipating Human Revolution. They've got a lot to live up and I for one hope they do so, as long as they keep Square-Enix's involvement to a minimum as they haven't developed anything decent for the past decade.

The gameplay actually stands up even today, since when did we become so dependent on regenerating health models? What's wrong with fleshing out your character, installing augmentations and having multiple options on how you want to approach a problem. I'm saying that graphics aren't everything, yet you seem to be placing so much stock in them. You're pretty much saying, "If it's got outdated graphics then it's a shit game!", would you say the same about RE2? MGS1?
