What was wrong with the multiplayer? No more easy no aim kills or blind burts with a melee? I see that as a massive positive especially for objective games, resembles Uncharted 2 at launch more, only with better features.
I played this yesterday, aside from the camera having an inverted vertical axis which couldn't be changed it was really great, can already see massive visual improvements from the beta build, went 22-6 on the new highrise.
Also tried it in 3D, unlike other 3D games I've tried this one didn't hurt my eyes or seem to put me off.Last edited by Dracarys; 09-25-2011, 05:02 PM.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

My problem from the beta was
A) cinematic entrance to levels is cool and all but levels like Air Strip give the heroes a big advantage
B) movement was clunky, nowhere near as fluid as U2
C) jumping is floaty as shit
D) blindfire melee is still easy idk what you're talking about Kylie
E) sprint was not needed at all if they didn't dumb it down to CoD speeds
I'm just saying this as a person who heavily invested in U2 multiplayer"Admit it, you're going to miss this ass" - Chloe Frazer

Some of those are beta issues, the game I played not 2 days ago wasn't clunky in movement, jumping same as it has ever been in Uncharted, blindfire melee combo is not as powerful as it is in UC2 currently, two pistols pops and a melee will not net a kill, it never used to in UC2 until they changed the damage and ruined objective modes. Sprint and speed change was needed because UC2 players bunny hop like assbags and it is retarded, as well as the pop-pop-melee. It wasn't very rewarding to people who had a good aim when so much stuff the get easier kills, for a shooter that is pretty terrible.Originally posted by Jill4EverSTARS View PostMy problem from the beta was

Also what advantage did heroes get exactly? Talking about being nearer the grenade launcher at airfield? Hardly a big advantage but that is a weapon placement issue and again, beta.
Unlike most glorified demos naming themselves as betas, Uncharted 3 beta was an actual beta.Last edited by Dracarys; 09-26-2011, 12:44 PM.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

I mean heroes starting on the plane while villains have to try getting on the advantage goes to the heroes. As for bunny hopping, if you have problems killing those people then your aim comes into question. Yes U2 isn't what it was (update 1.04 being the pinnacle) and I'll have to play the build you're on for a proper assessment. Most of my friends feel U3 is a step back in core gameplay saying it feels much more like U1 than U2, which to me is a terrible downgrade.
Speaking of blindfire/melee if it's a head on fight idk what you're complaining about it's an easy kill. Just change up your strategy and adapt"Admit it, you're going to miss this ass" - Chloe Frazer

...and don't say that doesn't mean he's not American, Spencer. I can hear you thinking it back in time before you even read this post!
