...allow me to make this very clear. My son is going on a vintage steam railway with several stops for his day out, along with eating a meal at a restraunt of his choice. He will be getting several sets of toys he wants because I do not make a lot of money and his birthday is special for him some of which I've been slowly buying over the last couple of months but some of which I need to buy.

And I'm NOT half assing that for any game, not even one I want, when I have twenty more I need to play or replay.

Yeah, this is something I'm actually going to wait on. For some reason, the trailers and gameplay videos didn't do it for me. It just seemed like Dead Rising put into first person, and I'm not overly fond of first persons to begin with. This is something that I will have to wait and see a few more videos...And like Darkmoon, a steep price dip. $60 is a bit more than I want to pay for something that only lukewarm interests me.

That and I'm really thinking about buying a 3DS and would rather have Mercenaries 3D over this.

I am very interested to hear reviews from those of you buying Dead Island. Keep me posted on if its actually good or a piece of crap.

I'm actually in the same situation as you, only that I've already got plans with the 3DS (asked my boss if he could buy me one, he's going to LA for the weekend, so I can save some nice cash if he buys it on the US)... I really want to try this before I buy. I love zombies, and this game seems interesting, but I guess it'll have to wait, having Gears of War 3 released on this same month also kind of makes this one a late buy.
