In Silent Hill 2 you read something about a boat that sunk in silent hill lake (or whatever it name is)

It's been a year or two since I played Silent Hill : Restless Dreams. What I remember the from the most from what I've read was that whole story about the serial killer. I just remember that the most because of that creepy game show quiz I had to do.

If you want to meet that serial killer, play SH4 ;)

Hmm really? I have Silent Hill : The Room , but have yet to really play. Just the opening trailer creeps me out. Plus I heard, besides the name, it has nothing to do with the Silent Hill series.

The Room is a bit limited in dealing with Silent Hill, but I wouldn't say it doesn't have anything to do with it. It fills in a lot of backstory. It just doesn't touch much on Silent Hill now. It was meant to be a different series, however, so it doesn't feel the same as the other Silent Hills.

Although you don't visit Silent Hill in The Room (but one of the locations is placed at the Toluca Lake), the game is connected to the city and its myths storywise. It's gameplay is a little different than SH1-3 (there's no radio, no darkness, no flashlight, you can carry only limited number of items etc.), but it still IMO has the atmosphere of SH.

Still creep me out. But I guess you guys have a point. I may of gotten my fax wrong, with it not intending to be a Silent Hill game and all. So you really meet the killer from Restless Dreams in The Room? Correct me if I am wrong: But didn't he kill someone with a dull butter knife or something along those lines? Anyways. If The Room wasn't intended to be a Silent Hill game, than what was is suppost to be? I mean what was it's real name?

Who knows? Maybe just the room. You can easily imagine how it wouyld have worked without the Silent Hill parts, really.

Walter killed lots of folks in many, many unpleasant ways. I don't remember the butter knife, but I can believe it.

Poor poor PyramidHead. The idea of him was so brilliant, amazing, cool, and scary as shit, the the poor man/monster has been done to death.

Maybe it's just my matter of opinion (SH is a pretty open minded game per individual) But wasn't PyramidHead James' PERSONAL Demon? Like James himself made up PyramidHead because.. Spoiler:
So then he formed all that together and created PyramidHead?

Like I can understand maybe these folks on the boat happened to see the painting once themselves, and for those who actually played, maybe all these people have stuff they're hiding too. But dayum. People differ extremely from person to person, especially mentally. Chances of creating the same exact mental image of a self punisher? Ehhh >_>

And also, of course, the Silent Hill movie. Ugh. Pyramid Head had absolutely no business being there. In fact, I think that's WHY he's even in the arcade game. He had all those bugs and shit just like the movie. It's just like RE4 and U.C. sticking in lasers and Red Queens and shit. It's bullshit.

                            RIP PyramidHead T_T

Walter only killed himself, for the first time, with a spoon, there were no butter knifes kills
