She apparently passed away today from cardiac arrest during an operation at the age of 81.

Really sad to see Joan face death, or death face Joan. Plastic surgery!...RIP Funny lady. May not have always laughed with you, but I always appreciated you were with a joke at the ready.

In 2006 she was at the Australian TV industry awards, the Logies.
She was drunk, petulant, and fucking awesome! Said exactly what everyone in the room was thinking, gave the show the respect it deserves and totally stole the show.
