Cant belive that Dot and Spence didnt enjoy this film, its a damn classic between this and godfather you cant ask for anymore in a gangster film. I didnt see it till bout 3 years ago but when I watched it once on tape I bought the special edition dvd and the game. The last level is mega hard when you make your way towards Sosa's crib. Think the whole shot 20 times thing is adrenaline he had a crazy amount cant imagine how you would feel from that but it is possible he couldnt feel pain til his spine got shattered.

Oh well, it's just a game. I'll actually appreciate Vice City a lot more now that I've seen Scarface.

Ironically the GTA series - especially vice city - borrowed a lot of elememts from films like Scarface and Carlito's Way (also directed by Brian DePalma and starring Al Pacino). At the end the producers of Scarface sued Rockstar games but they settle it out of court

    Overrated, but still good, right?

I've found Scarface to be an overrated film.

I watched it for the first time a few months ago too. I enjoyed it. I think that part in Natural Born Killers when it was on the TV screen delayed me seeing it as it looked kinda weird.

So what, the hype ruined it for you?

I really didn't like the movie. It was hyped up a lot by people and by the time I got to see it a few years ago it just fell flat.

Lol, it's mean to be watched as a good fun movie! Of course nobody can survive being shot that many times.

I'm amazed Tony didn't die of a heart attack before he could get shot to death, with as much blow as he snorted (the mini-mountain of cocaine comes to mind).

I would have liked to have seen a sequel
Not me. It's amazing enough that Tony snorted as much blow at once as he did, and still survived, but the ending is bullshit.

I don't care who the hell you think you are or how much body armour you have on, in real life, he would have hit the ground after a few shots.

Don't get me wrong, though. Scarface is one of my all-time favorites.

Just finished watching it again. This had definitely made it onto my favourite movies list. Somewhere around the top too. It was a pity how Tony dies at the end though. I would have liked to have seen a sequel (making sure that it's not too cheesy and stupid like most sequels are).

I'm watching the movie again. I'm up to the scene at the Babylon Club where Tony is getting blackmailed by the DEA officer.

The movie is definitely an all time classic. For me it drug a bit during the middle/close to the end, but only for about 45 minutes or so. The ending well made up for it. I'll probably end up getting the game one day...I've heard a lot of good things about it.
