Stay away from NZ sweets they don't have any flavour and taste of lard, I don't think they've ever heard of sugar.
As for food and drink my favourites are
Canada Dry, Vodka or WKD / Smirnoff, Jim Beam,
Sunday Dinner with Yorkshire Pud, Lasagna, Toblerone, Battenburg, Cadbury Creme Egg Ice Cream.

My favourite drink is Mother, an energy drink. Very strong lime flavour but tasty.

EDIT: Due to it's label warning of contain shit-loads of energy, I'd recommend that you don't take anymore than two can/glass-bottles a day, if you ever decide to try some.

I love spicy beef jerky. Bring on the heat!

I tried the peppered beef jerky and it was WAY too hot.

Another really good snack, Guacamole Doritos or any type of guacamole chip! They make your fingers and tongue green!
