Fair enough, but only if you factor in he's barely acting at all in those films. Its just him playing his usual self, which just happened to almost work for those movies. Thank god Rourke decided to do the Wrestler after all.

Even Keanu Reeves isn't bad. He's just not very adept at changing his acting style, ie, no emotion. Ever.
