who all here at the-horror is leaving this site a week or 2 be4 re5 comes out so u can avoid spoilers and such i no i am but ill login right after i get done beating re5 with my partner. show hands now.

A lot of folks are doing this. We're doing everything we can for those folks who do wanna hang around and don't want spoiled...but I know I'm getting the game before release largely to make sure I can mod here without too many nasty surprises.

Even then, I fully expect to see some idiot or troll stick up the games ending somewhere. So I certinly don't blame folks who are taking a break. I'm just sticking with it.

I know some folks. Who know some folks. Who own a videogame store that regularly releases games as soon as they enter the place, which is usually a few days early, so they can one up there competion. Of course, they do charge for it, but not for me. They like me.

I'm in that situation. My brother got GTAIV, Little Big Planet (before it was recalled), and several other games before the date they were supposed to officially come out. But his is a rental store so his test runs with them only last a few days.

I wont leave...but I'll certainly be mindful of which threads I look at. I actually think that once March hits, the spoilers thread should be locked completely. I think that thread is just asking for the entire game to be ruined. I thought the thread was nice at first to get little inklings, such as oh this level will most likely have this special enemy, but now it's like a race to see who can put up the most information before anyone else.

Once the game is released in Japan, I shall be sailing out for a bit. I obviously won't completely avoid the internet, because my Resident Evil friends aren't cruel enough to spoil anything, but I certainly won't browse the message boards until I complete the game.

I heard rumors that 711 has a knack for releasing games before they are supposed to. Can anyone confirm or deny these rumors? If so, I will be making friends with some 711 guys before the end of the month. hehehe

My mom franchised a 7-Eleven (basically she owns her own store now) and my dad's... something of franchising development or something. Basically he franchises stores to people.

Sometimes games are released beforehand, but most 7-Elevens (at least here in America) don't have the most recent games so I doubt RE5 will be there.
