Glad to hear that the film is great. It's very hard nowdays to make a good 3rd film of a frachise.

I know the movie's all about kids growing up and moving on from their toys...but I miss my Woody and Buzz toys more than ever now.
Ahh...it's been a while since we've seen 'The Lucero Defense.' Welcome back.Originally posted by Branden_Lucero View Postcritics don't matter. i matter. my self opinion matters. its worth more than what any critic can say. Roger Ebert, one of the most respectable critics for decades to come, gave Full Metal Jacket a negative review, which either 1 or 2 that is on that site. but does that mean i care enough to nag about it? nope. cause i love full metal jacket.Last edited by Vector; 06-22-2010, 01:19 PM.

When I was little I had the big Buzz figure. Wing's came out, talked, lazer, pretty much the real deal but I wanted the Woody figure more but never found one. I went all over Kansas City trying to find one. We even tried the Disney store here at the mall and nothing. All they had was Buzz. I was not a happy child.Originally posted by ChrisRedfield29 View PostI know the movie's all about kids growing up and moving on from their toys...but I miss my Woody and Buzz toys more than ever now.

True. But Return of the King was pretty good. Even won an Oscar for best picture.Originally posted by aris13 View PostGlad to hear that the film is great. It's very hard nowdays to make a good 3rd film of a frachise.
I think Toy Story 3 will win an Oscar as well. More than one in fact.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

that's because everything is not meant for everyone. i'm an individual enough to stand apart and know that even if something is loved by everyone, does mean i should follow in line of a herd of the same colored sheep.Originally posted by Pikminister View PostThat was not my point.
My point was that in a world where Toy Story 3 is universally acclaimed, there are actually real ppl out there in the wild that think said movie was BLEH!
You're not the only one.

No it means that there are actually ppl out there that will take a good hard look at what the majority likes and go BLEH!. And I was simply pointing out that you weren't alone in your opinion of TS3.Originally posted by Branden_Lucero View Postthat's because everything is not meant for everyone. i'm an individual enough to stand apart and know that even if something is loved by everyone, does mean i should follow in line of a herd of the same colored sheep.
I just think is perfectly ok to dislike TS3 for no other reason than to give the majority of moviegoers/critics the middle finger. I have never watched an episode of "Friends" despite everyone telling me that it's the best TV sitcom ever. I just have this feeling that they're wrong.
The movie blew chunks. Seen it once and that was more than enough. But the global warming/ecological message was there, no doubt.Originally posted by ZOMBIE_FETUS View PostFuck Avatar though.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Well we have kids in our family so I used them as an excuse to see some of these flicks. I did see Shrek 4 recently and it was OK. Better than the 2nd one (never seen the 3rd one). But nowhere as funny as the first one. The 3D was crap. Aside from "How to Train Your Dragon" none of the films I've seen recently make decent use of the 3D technology. Not even Toy Story 3.Originally posted by Branden_Lucero View Posti only said Bleh, cause i don' know if i want to see it. and if i do, i sure as hell don't want to go alone. to me, i don't know why people still go and see the Shrek movies. after the 2nd, i never figured out what people still continue to see.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.
