Jake the snake just announced his retirement, which I surprised he can even walk or is alive. He would be a great teacher to young wrestlers and tell then what and what not to do when being a wrestler.

Duh lol. My buddy used to call the WWF hotline to see who would win Wrestlemania, a week before it actually happened. The point is, even if me and you have planned or "scripted" a match, it's going to take a lot of agility and strength to pull off the moves and actually make them look professional.

Than of course there are the numerous injuries that can occur during these scripted, plays if you will. Owen Hart of course fell to his death because of an obviously unscripted event but he died trying to entertain people. The wrestler Droz was accidentally paralyzed for life, and hundreds of other serious injuries have happened because of freak accidents or miscommunication.

I'm not the biggest wrestling fan in the world these days, but I grew up watching it and I appreciate those who put thier health on the chopping block to please the masses, especially in old school hardcore matches. It's mostly scripted and purely entertainment, but it is a difficult and dangerous sport.

Yea, that's why so many wrestlers overdose on pain killers. When ECW had it's reunion pay-per-view, the memorial session for all the wrestlers that had died since it went off the air was like 10 minutes long.

Quoted for the truth. It's amazing how there's little apperication for the physical aspect of the sport(yes, sport), because of it's "fake", "scripted", entertainment driven style. Those guys ain't taking girly punchs, or falling on feather-filled mats. There beating the hell outta each other--just simply to the point of not giving someone a serious injury, though, serious injury's eventually happen because the human body is only designed to take so much abuse. It takes some serious athletic ability to do the kind of crazy shit these guys do day in an day out, professionally, I might add.

If anyone has any doubts, just try fallilng backwards hard a few times like someone smacked the crap out of you, and see if that doesn't take a toll.

He was accused of assaulting a 15 year old fan by spitting gum in the kids face.

Yes I know but from what I read, an eye witness said that Randy was escourted to his car by a police officer and nothing occured. Fans wanted autographs and he just walked to his car. Randy also said on his website that the person that accused him claimed that years ago he called their son a retard and spit in the kids face. Orton denied ever doing this.
