Its not that at all, here are examplesOriginally posted by GuardhouseMusic View PostWhile attitude adjustment sounds like a shitty name, you have to understand, Brock Lesnar now works for UFC. John Cena's F-U was a reference to Lesnar's F-5, and I think the WWE would want to sever any associations to him, however small.
*Kid watches TV wrestling*
Kid: Look mom its the F-U
Mom: What did you say
The reason it was changed because FU name was in the way of the new PG13 rule! Its too vulgar that's why they changed the name, STFU was changed to basically STF.

One team that I find really annoying is Legacy. I just get tired of this whole "Randy Orton will be the champ" thing. It's been going on for too long. It's getting old.
Not sure if Orton is still a title holder currently 'cause like I said I haven't really watched it in a while.

The only thing more obvious than any forum having a wrestling thread is the fact that there'll always be people be a bunch of people saying it's not as good as it ever used to be haha. For the record, things went downhill when Austin went off the boil. That was the end of the golden era for the sport.
That's just damn insulting to the likes of actual GREAT wrestling tag teams like Legion Of Doom, Money Inc, the Steiner Brothers, British Bulldogs, the Horsemen and the Hart Foundation.Originally posted by Swagger View PostNot just the best but also the best faction formed ever in WWF/WWE.
Hell, DX doesn't even compare well to the likes of latter day teams like the New Age Outlaws, Edge & Christian, the Hardys and the Dudleys.
The only reason DX are where they are now is because of their backstage influence, both men are past their prime and i don't see how it could possibly be in the companies best interests to have two past it athletes rolling over the future of the business in the likes of Miz/Morrison and Rhodes/Dibiase.
Not bad for someone who doesn't even watch wrestling anymore haha

Well I haven't watched wrestling anymore since 2003, I gave up watching after The Rock departed and Stone Cold retired.Originally posted by Big Stu View PostThe only thing more obvious than any forum having a wrestling thread is the fact that there'll always be people be a bunch of people saying it's not as good as it ever used to be haha. It's not just that but they've banned nearly all the risky moves highflyers are completely wasted in WWE it needs to go back to high impact wrestling instead of the character side that's what destroyed WCW imo they concentrated too much on storylines and the the matches ended up being shit.Originally posted by DrRockso View PostYeah, now they're to family orriented. Like it's okay to have scantaly vlad women fight each other, but none of the good ole stuff can happen. I remember one of the best DX moments from the Attitude era, when DX did the whole Vince loves cocks thing. I found that hilarious.

If he had a brain, he'd be dangerous.

I've heard of the DDT (which is sacrilege in its own right) being banned, but the piledrivier? Damn.
I won't stop harping on about ECW. The Dudleyz had much greater influence than in WWF and tag teams such as The Gangstas, The Eliminators, and RVD & Sabu were spectacles in-ring.Last edited by GuardhouseMusic; 08-30-2009, 06:11 PM.

The 90's era wrestling was awesome! This generation of a wrestling sucks bad!Originally posted by GuardhouseMusic View PostI've heard of the DDT (which is sacrilege in its own right) being banned, but the piledrivier? Damn.

Swagger, i actually meant to quote the dude that made the statement in the first place. As factions go, the five "man" DX were fantastic.
And the DDT is so not banned, not at all. The piledriver is, understandably, but they still bring it out for "special occasions".
