Yeah, Drew Barrymore was the girl who had to answer the trivia questions.
Scream is one of my most favorite horror films, it practically reinvented the horror genre in the 90's. Even though it's considered to be a spoof, I think it's probably one of the most smartest horror films out there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slasher...New_Film_Cycle

Yeah, especially... I think it was the first one (I can't remember which one I saw like.. 8 years ago, I was 9 XD), when pretty sure it was Drew Barrymore flings a beer bottle at him and you hear that generic "UGH!" that's been in a ton of movies and TV shows.
Also, how do you get killed by a garage door? That's seriously almost impossible. I say almost because I know there's some poor idiot out there stupid enough to try something and get killed. But still, almost.Last edited by Canas Renvall; 08-23-2009, 06:16 PM.

The Scream films are hilariously entertaining. I love at the end of Scream 3 where Ghostface is chasing someone round a house and they ducks and he goes through the window. It's the sort of thing you'd expect to see in a spoof. XDLast edited by Alexia_Ashford; 08-23-2009, 08:09 AM.

Right, I've had enough of this. If you want to keep breaking the rules (this specific rule has been broken by you for the..8th time now?), then you aren't wanted here anymore.

They're already talking about embedding flash into TV's so why is the film industry lagging so far behind it's worse than the pre I-Tunes napster era.
That's why there's so many problems. And of course, if someone did find a way to stop all this easy, direct-source-file publishing, you could just grab a HD video camera, get a line-in from your computer speakers and set up the camera positioning correctly, and voila. You have a good telesync, which could be entirely watchable.

...That sounds amazing. MST3K material for sure, I'm all for it. xD Thanks for the info.

Oh god yes. Commando is so over the top. It definitely doesn't take itself seriously. I mean, look who the main villain is. An overweight, middle-aged man wearing a chain mail vest.

The horror genre has Evil Dead as camp/parody but still good...Do action movies have any ones like that, sort of mocking the whole genre while still being good? Is Commando that way?

I'm like that with action movies. Commando is one of my favorite films, just because of how ridiculous the whole situation is.

I'm not scared that easy by horror movies anymore, so I can't say if any were good based on scares...The Gravedancers, to me, had a pretty original plot, and not a lot of campy gore. Trailer Park of Terror is a typical teen-kill fest, but it's purposely campy. It's a guilty pleasure, plus is has a good premise to boot.

Horror movies these days. Jason, Halloween..ugh. I mean, I never really liked them back in the day either, but as I got older they just haven't aged well. Now we have remakes going on. Oh, watch some stupid teenagers get killed for 90 minutes, yes, thats entertaining. I'm finding it much harder to find movies with an actual plot these days. I want story, damnit!
The last good horror movie I watched was The Descent. Excellent flick, with some well done horror.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I do point at the screen and mumble about peoples screen names. 'In my day people had origional screen names, like SupaAwesomeD00d and Cereal Killa, and now we have people called RoflKopter15? What is the interweb comming to? I remember when you could have a civil conversation and it would be three, four pages before a troll messed it up.'
Etc. And my hand shakes because my left should is messed up. Just because I'm only 25 in chronological age doesn't mean I'm not in my early thousands in terms of cynacism and hate. I can't decided if my kids or the trolls will be responsible for my first grey hairs.
