    Heya All.

I'm trying to make some ringtones for my mobile phone, by extracting certain parts of songs (the chorus, for example) and making them into MP3s. Does anyone know of software that will allow me to open an MP3, extract a specific part from it and add a "fade-in" and "fade-out" to the start and beginning of each?

Oh, and if possible it has to be Free. >_>

    Thanks

Its not free but Cool Edit (or as its now called Adobe Audition) can fit all those needs.

But is it worth purchasing for the simple task of making ringtones? =P Thanks for the suggestion though Dot, appreciate it.

Ok. Sorry, this will not happen again.

You can always use Trial versions. I guess you can make some ringtones in less than 30 days
