I definitely don't count as normal, and I only count as human by default. I try to disown humanity as a whole.

Plus, if I'm right I get to take the piss out of you for all time, whereas if you're right we're not gonna exist anymore and will never know.
A bit of Pascal's Gambit there.

Well I'm agnostic. I don't really believe in any religion as such. I just try to take the good teachings where I find them and I do think a certain level of Karma exists. I try to do right by everyone not because god commands it or to get into heaven or what not but because I want to.

I think there may be something but not your stereo typical religious god though I do like the old Norse and Greek gods, they seemed more fun. I don't mean any offense to anyones beliefs but that kind of god I just can't see existing.

Ah, you work on the assumption I'm Christian. I'm not. I had a lot of sex before I was married. True, most of it was with the lady who would be my wife, but I didn't know that at the time.

Interesting side note; I also have a degree in Archaeological Sciences, three kids and still get a great deal of sex even after I'm married. Although now it's all with my wife. Religion doesn't hold me back. It helped keep me afloat during two very, very dark moments in my life, one of which resulted in a minor mental breakdown.

I mean, by my religion, I'm allowed to eat anything that's still alive, steal stuff, kill anyone or worship a false Idol. Since I don't do any of those too often (OK, I might occasionally kill and eat the odd internet troll, and not always in that order, but it's not as though they're a person!) religion has yet to hold me back, but helps me through hard times with the belief that this shit isn't happening for no good reason and when I finally snuff it I'm not destined to oblivion, but to be re-united with those I know and love.

Plus, if I'm right I get to take the piss out of you for all time, whereas if you're right we're not gonna exist anymore and will never know.

    ...win!

I'd just prefer to believe in the basics when it comes to religion: -

    - God created the universe.
    - God and Jesus loves us.
    - We love them.

    ... And that's about it.

So, like... Im all in with my last chips, I have suited Jack and 10 and the dipshit whos calling, the only guy who called had six and nine offsuit. I really didnt think my chances were getting any better at this points, so when I saw his cards, I was cheering because the chances of me winning were considerably higher. I was really cornered and the blinds would have killed me off anyway, so this was the best decision I could do.

Then the flop came down, and it read six, six, nine.

I mean, the colossal injustice here is an obvious sign that theres a devil somewhere, who wants me to suffer, because there is no way in hell a full house can come down through sheer luck, on the flop. Seriously. And if theres a devil, there has to be a god. So now Im religious.

    Spoiler:

I once was without religion. I believe there was no god. However, I couldn't deny it after nearly dying three times and surviving. There was no way I should had survived. Not only that, but I also believe God does answer my prayers. It's too much to say it's coincedental after one hundred times of having my prayers answered. It's too convienent.
