I think what gave her away her guilt is giving false information to police. I mean seriously if she was in mourning of her daughter and wanted to find out who really murdered her daughter why in the hell would she give police false info? That right there should say shes guilty

It's actually because there was not enough evidence to prove it was her beyond a reasonable doubt. A lot of people claim that it's unfair, but that's just how the justice system in the USA works. Same thing happened with OJ Simpson.

The prosecution fucked up big time. They thought the jury would be swayed by the media views of Casey, and hardly put up a fight.

This never would've happened if Miles Edgeworth was on the case.
