  • Obama to China: US has gotten lazy on attracting business....

    -----------

...Ya know, I've heard repeatedly for years now that the only way to really get out of the crappy economy is for the small independent businesses to be able to grow.

But how can these independent businesses grow when they have a $250k cap before they get hit by harder taxes, they cant pay health benefits due to health benefits being majorly buttfucked by the current administration, and the only companies that got bailed out int he past few years are the banks and people that the president owes favors too, and we're in a depression that isn't going to go away anytime soon?

How have the US companies been a little lazy in attracting business when they cant do shit right now? Money is tight for everyone, who doesn't have a connection and apologizing to our new Chinese overlords because Obama buttfucked everything just before the economy tanked, for the US businesses who are unable to grow is really really vile.

Obamas repeated poor economic choices are the reason that the economy has failed, not the people who run the businesses(well, not all of them).

But we've been a little bit lazy, I think, over the last couple of decades. We've kind of taken for granted -- well, people will want to come here and we aren't out there hungry, selling America and trying to attract new business into America, Obama said.-Epic fail quote.

I really wan this fucker out I'm almost ready to vote republican(I'm an indipendent).

There is no singular reason the economy tanked. The housing bubble was the straw that broke the camel's back, while Obama's dippy economic policies and decisions just aren't doing enough to improve things. He inherited a doomed economy anyway.

Well first off we have to end Obamanomics and vote out EVERY politician who supported Obama's bank bailouts. Next we need to get vote against Obama's carbon tax and his proposed "carbon credit" system, which will finish off what little is left of our manufacturing base. We've seen the bust of the higher education bubble, due to federal scholarships that didn't create jobs, and that needs to be reversed.

Thats is true...but He was the one who has pushed for an expensive new health care reform, that is damn near worthless, he's put out two huge stimulus packages to bail out banks and companies that should have gone under, and he' spent most of his presidency shifting the blame and making bad economic choices, and all he does is throw money at problems instead of dealing with them.

He inherited a poor economy, and not only has he made it worse, hes tried to make the USA completely dependable on the rest of the world.

Hes given Interpol jurisdiction over the FBI, hes given Brazil most of our oil drilling equipment and has signed agreements to have them be one of our new oil supplies, he's pretty much handed our testicles over to the Chinese government gift wrapped.

So much of what hes done as President is given away segments of the country to Europe and the Chinese Government.

I never thought of my country becoming a welfare country, but I am now. And the way things are...they have not begun to get worse. That's the scary part.

What about Independence? That's something every country should strive to maintain and should never give away. Thats whats happening and has been going on for a while now.

It takes a stupid administration to make you realize how important it really is :/.

I'm of the opinion that everything is fucked everywhere one way or another. I'm not so sure there is any decision that will be a good decision, assuming a "good decision" is one which benefits in both the short and long term. The short-term is pretty much fucked so in my opinion we should cut our losses and take it up the ass for a short time until things start to improve and we can take countermeasures to make sure we're less fucking retarded in the future. Obama is thinking long-term on some things (health care reform) but short-term on others (bail outs).

I don't think hes really thinking long term on the health care so much as that's the one real achievement he has, aside from being the president in office when Bin laden was killed.

That health care bill is a fail though. Problem is that most of it is the health care bill that Mitt Romney worked on...which was for a state run health care bill. What pisses me off is the most is that as a National Health care bill a provision is that every citizen must buy into it.

There are like 7 states here int he US that have a state run health care system that seems to be working just fine. I think my father summed it up by saying "The federal government isn't up to the job of running a national health care system, especially when they can barely run themselves. Are these really the people you want in charge of an emergency surgery for someone you care about who just had an accident?"

As you said, it's based on Romneycare, which bankrupt Massachusetts. Nothing about the welfare state is sustainable, what is happening in Europe should have been a clear indicator that we shouldn't go down their socialist path. With any luck we'll have this clown replaced come 2012, preferably with Gary Johnson.

Nothing wrong with socialism when it's done right. Germany is doing pretty sweet. It's just a pity that Italy has a lecherous scumfuckbucketcuntbag in charge and Greece is just corrupt to the core and barely passes as a country because it's run by shitty, shitty people.

Socialism isnt really something that the US needs though, really needs to clean the shit out of the government.

I don't think Socialism is necessarily a bad thing, but I've seen too many people take advantage of loop holes in social programs that its made me pretty wary of it.

Really the ultimate problem is cleaning out the shit that runs the country is main problem.

Most politicians have actual people as very much a secondary concern. As far as I can tell, they're usually the last people we should actually put in power...but who would take all the stress and responsibility that it comes with without perks like power and the chance to make money? Not many folks.

Of course, those few are likely the ones we should have as world leaders.

In my experience, all politicians are bullshitters and it's the reason why I refrain from voting. They give it the big talk before they get voted in and they're all as bad when they become Prime Minister.
