        This made me LOL:

North Korean legend has it that Kim was born on Mount Paekdu, one of Korea's most cherished sites, in 1942, a birth heralded in the heavens by a pair of rainbows and a brilliant new star.
Soviet records, however, indicate he was born in Siberia, in 1941.
He was like a little pony or something?

The man had a love for film. People these days would study the art, work their way from the ground up and experiment with the equipment themselves. But not Kim. He saw fit to go the extra mile and kidnap a South Korean filmmaker to make the movies he wanted to make including a nifty monster movie from what I understand.

One gets out other gets in, unfortunately nothing is going to change for the north koreans.

I saw photos of people crying because of his death but I'm pretty sure they were all actors.

Oh well. Sucks to be him.

I am concerned about the potential political and economic fallout from the sod deciding now was the best time to go push up some daisies, and of course whether his successor is half way sane and strong enough to keep the mad old generals nuking everyone in range.

Should be a fun few months.
