Yes that's right folks. It's Taco Tuesday. So for anyone who wants to celebrate with me share pics and experiences of your very own Taco Tuesday. I'll keep this updated weekly to talk about all sorts of things related to this special day with recipes, places to go, and challenges including hottest taco sauce and most tacos eaten.

Today's Taco Tuesday is brought to you by the month Mayo and the number Cinco. That was a date I had to work on unfortunately. Today however I'm going to celebrate it. Sure it's late in the month, but I've got margaritas lined up followed by miniature tacos.



A meal so delicious that it goes to prove good things do come in small packages. Bite size for us. A full course dinner for Speedy Gonzales.

Update 06/26/12

Today I will review my experience at Baja Fresh.

I tried their sea food platter special. I had beans and rice. A shrimp taco, grilled fish taco and crispy fish taco.

Their beans weren't anything special. Rice was tasty though. Really, the best snack you can get there is tortilla chips and guacamole. That by itself can set you up all afternoon. As for the tacos themselves. I really enjoyed the shrimp taco. It was easy to pick up and the shrimp itself was well cooked. I believe they were grilled and spiced to add more flavor to it. Between the fish tacos I found the grilled to be seasoned just right and the best of the two. It wasn't that the crispy fish taco tasted terrible, but the fish itself looked and tasted like a giant fish stick. Combine that with salsa and other taco accessories and it just didn't combine well enough unlike the grilled sea food.

Over all I'd give it a positive review and suggest that if there's a location nearest you then it's a good place to get fish and shrimp tacos. They supply you with a slice of lime, a delicious piece of avocado and a salsa bar. You can't go wrong on your Taco Tuesday.
