I think the fact that they are in the middle of Spain would help the change of the costume.
And I don't think the v1 clothes are fashionable, they look like an England's guard uniform.

Version 1 attire is fabulous. It's actually my favourite and it's not out of the ordinary... Plenty of girls wear these during Winter and they look great. <3

Well, if you can provide the models file to take a look at them, as from the texture shaded view you can't really analyse how they are made.

model 2 and 3 are nearly the same,just some colur differences and a bit different looking pattern and.... a missing face for version 2.strange there there is no face and strange that this ashley model was on the disc

But everybody is discussing the model, their clothing specifically. Only one or two users brought up about wearing this in public, but who cares. Everyone else is saying model 1 is superior to the final version. Hurr durr.

they were the first to know and find them and still not water-marked ...

Also the 3.5 Ashley can be found on GC/Wii Builds, it's PL03.drs
Shes not from this final BH4 Build, her bones make the game crash, she has SOOO many hair bones shes awesome

I compared the faces closely and she has the same face as this

Also why would saddler wear such a coat if he was just the leader of Los Illuminados ?

And Ashleys height is different, Face , eye color and clothes are completely different, you can consider her as an identical twin but she way older, and the clothing doesn't fit the RE4 final settings.

You could be right but that's what I think, I'm not saying that I am 100% right, niether of us are, unless someone investigates about those two things by contacting character artists maybe to confirm.

There's nothing to explain about that image. They reused that girl's clothing style for Ashley very early into the development of the new version, probably because of when the game is set (Autumn). Spencer was never meant to appear in any version of BH4 apart from the one that became Devil May Cry. There's no reason a cult leader can't wear those clothes.

I don't mean to sound snooty, but I am 100% right because my information comes from the BH4 development team themselves.
