Yes, totally agree - this is another reason for the considerable loss of survival horror quality and integrity the series has suffered since Code: Veronica. One dimensional characters that fail to develop or garner interest, scattered across a multitude of unrelated narratives, and given atrociously context poor dialogue.

Dario Rosso was the last Resident Evil character I had any interest in, and for the record, Leon is a dull & unlikeable c**t.

I have to disagree, No I will disagree. Rebecca could be a real great main character if Capcom would just give the character a chance. Same goes for Barry. Both badass characters.

Regarding my little Leon outburst - Wow that must have been a bad morning, sorry to Leon fans, ridiculously harsh - but I'm just not a Leon fan, he's bored me since RE2. I always found Rebecca ridiculously out of her depth both mentally and physically, and for me her inclusion into S.T.A.R.S. made them a little less believable as a specialist unit capable of dealing with terrorism and serious crime.
