Every Action Man I've ever seen looks exactly like what I've posted, minus the original vintage models. I posted in-hand RE5 pics afterwards but in regards to TDK, logically, of course I'm gonna compare with the best HT has to offer. Hot Toys can be hit or miss with different sculptors doing different projects. Sculpts made based on real, existing people will always win over non-existent ones. RE5 and especially RE4 Hot Toys are also outdated, however, IMO Chris and Wesker were well done. A lot can happen in a few years as evidenced. Hot Toys has also been getting a bit greedy as of late, I definitely don't think Ada is worth $200.

I like how you both pick some of the crap action man toys and completely disregard the RE Hot Toys which aren't anywhere near the quality of the Batman ones.


edit: Upon googling I see recent action man figures have taken a deformed inhuman direction on body design, but older ones were pretty much identical to HT RE figures in body model and clothing quality, only suffering less facial detail, which certainly isn't worth 6-8 times the price.

Everybody starts somewhere,though. Maybe try investing in some figures you like; I recommend Moby Dick: expensive, but NICE! To me Palisades had best RE/BH statues, Moby Dick had figures. I'm not into Neca; only want Jill from those. Also, you could get some of the foreign game versions; Code Veronica is cheap for the JP DC version. $20-30 maybe? Just try to save for something your really want. Collections are NOT an over-night thing. Take it slow. Anyways, pre-ordered the Hot Toys Ada Wong. Can't wait till April-June. I like her more than the Jill's! Can any HT owners tell me a bit more about the quality of these things? She's going to be my first one, so I'm curious.

Hot Toys's quality has certainly gotten better in the last few years, so much so that they're releasing newer, better versions of their previous attempts. I own all the HT Resident Evil figures, as well as personal customizations of every classic character...

For the price I think the HT dolls are a disgrace. They no better than an action man doll in terms of quality and those are 1/6 - 1/8 the price.

For being in my top 3 video game series ever, my collection is lackluster and contains nothing special:

RE1-6 (RE2 and 4 on two consoles), Outbreak, the Chronicles games, Revelations, ORC, and um...yeah that's pretty much it i think.

Now that I think about it, I only own one truly rare thing and its a particular vinyl record.

between all RE airsoft/marui guns, the ones i like most is the barry magnum and leons desert eagle. the RE0 magnum looks like the remake one.

Leon's Deagle is schweet. Still kicking myself for not getting it for the $500 when I could. Pain to track down. The revolver is very real looking. Even fake bullets in the chamber! I want Jill's STARS gun but when one pops up they go quickly.

Yeah, it is pretty cool. I was debating on getting the larger version (8 inches, I think?) but there is no WAY I'd be able to drop $600+ on it. These things are crazy expensive. I aim on the Gold Lugers, but sheesh, those aren't much better; price wise. xD

Are the RE6 tablets any worth?, Capcom Europe it's selling them in their store.

For those interested, Capcom-Europe store has dropped the prices on its RE6 special editions with the T-Shirts and tablet cases. You can also just buy all four tablet cases together for £16.

Dunno when the price drops happened or when the tablet case bundle was added, not checked the store since a couple weeks after RE6 release.

They are all pretty cheap tat, though at £4 each I suppose not bad for a collector item. Similar tat usually costs much more. Really not kidding calling them tablet cases, they don't even open the length of a tic-tac.

By the way, Redman, you have more guides, books and magazines than me!!! I wanna buy some but I really prefer buying the games!! I gues i should get some!!!
