    AIRSHIP FLASHBACK II ?!
Now I know the Airship stage didn't have any flashbacks. How did that guy translate it to English?

No, Kobayashi flat-out stated in Nintendo Power that they were different.

Afterward, we decided to totally scratch all of that work and start over. Then we had a new video at E3. And guess what? We scratched that as well. The third time we tried remaking it, we didn't show it to anybody. We had a promotional video, but we had to scratch that as well. So this new style is actually the fourth time we have tried recreating it because we just could not get it to the level that we wanted.

Reading comprehension, Mikami said the series would have ended if RE4 hadn't sold well.

And I am seriously sick of this bullsh*t: The GamePro "article" is entirely based on the fake interview by GamingWorld X. People should finally stop spreading misinformation. But with that stupid erroneous write-up making the rounds, it's impossible.

Sounds like they were the traditional array of monsters in the very first version. Plus Leon's arm being super powered.

By the way, I heard about Shinji Mikami's 2010 interview: "Resident Evil 3.5 was to be the Definite End of Resident Evil". Is this true? Is he really wanted to finish the series with a bang?! is there any source or evidence about this issue?

(this has since become a general Resident Evil Beta topic but the first few posts are all about Resident Evil 3.5) Many of you probably played Resident Evil 4. Many of you probably enjoyed Resident Evil 4. Some of you may have even heard or seen Resident Evil 4's beta game, codenamed Resident Evi...

I wonder what do enemies look like in the Fog version? maybe fog-like creatures!? like RE5? but all of them were the same! they reminds me one of the enemies of Resident Evil: Outbreak. If you remember he was in the hospital.

I wouldn't. At the time, RE4 was an innovative game that revamped the series and whether we like the gameplay or not, it was very successful, popular and a very good game. Imo, it was a very fun game.

RE5 comes out years later, and very little has changed with the gameplay except quick selection of items and forced co-op. At this point, to me, it just feels clunky and dated. I preferred the weapon/item selection method in RE4 as well. It tries to address unresolved plot points but I think it did it terribly and could have been so much better, which is another factor which takes enjoyment out of the game for me.

When RE4 first came out, I hated on it a lot because I didn't read much info about it and I was expecting the same plotline as RE 3.5 and continuation of the story, and I didn't get that and it peed me off. Now though, I can appreciate it for what it is (a stand-alone 'fun' action game), partly because it was great at its time and it didn't try (and fail) to round off the plot of the previous games.

Now that RE5 finished the main plot arc they can do that and focus on the horror. Hopefully with Revelations.

Shinji Mikami wasn't really talking about the gameplay...after all, it's just two player RE4. And Mikami was behind 4 and it's complete lack of horror. I suspect he was talking more along the lines of the plot with a little bit of jealousy and anger thrown in for good measure.

Paul Mercier already told that Leon's arm was going to turn in to a 15 foot snake!

Damn, Resident Evil 5 is just an action game. it's not scary. it's not a Resident Evil game after all. what were developers thinking? as Shinji Mikami said: I probably won't play it!

In my idea, Re5 is just a copy of Re4 and Onimusha: Down of Dreams! whatever, I don't care anymore about it.
