There's also a Demo disc for Resident Evil 2 for the Dreamcast I don't own it but I do have the Disc Id's an and a picture of the discs somewhere i'll try and find it.

I have never seen the dev media. My beta is real though. I mean that Bio2 Beta 2 runs on an unmodified PS2. That's more then enough proof to me that it is real.

Dot, I think kevstar meant to make the first one BioHazard 2 Beta Version 1. Simple typo.

Also, I think I might just do a bit of research into that big list before adding it to my compilation, because it seems to have a lot of errors (like fan made versions) and typos and stuff.

It's not my list it's SeiyaKou's of bioflames however I did help him with a few additions as far I know there are only two versions one with both Claire and Leon selectable "Beta 1" which has debug code running across the screen whilst playing and one which only has Leon selectable which has a debug menu with most of the options locked "Beta 2".

Duped? I'm pretty sure it's real. It's a silver top CD with a black bottom. Could it be a bootleg? I mean, it does boot up on my Jap PS2 fine and runs good. It does look up some times though and has audio glitches.

Blank PSX CD's aren't exactly rare, especially a few years ago. It sounds like you got duped. But a picture would be nice.

I got the Bio2 Beta 2 on a PSX CD off of eBay some years back, sold for 50 bucks. It is a real PSX CD and runs on my PS2 fine (Jap PS2). I'll take a pic once I get a Camera.

Those aren't demos, they are preview builds in the UK. Usually given to stores to help promote the game by running it on their machines.

Yep, more frequently called "White labels", i have one for Jet Set Radio. There is one for RE:CV as well, not sure about RE3 though

I have a list I've been working on, but its not complete at the moment. Ill see if I can work on it later today, but I still need to catalog all the demo's and such.

Why are you listing this twice? Simply because of the corrupt backgrounds? Thats due to some asshat ripping the game after it was burned. Its unfortunately the most common one found, and its only 1 or so backgrounds that are corrupted in the main hall of the RPD on the second floor IIRC. The one on Bioflames was ripped properly from an HK bootleg and doesn't have this corruption.

There is no Resident Evil 5th anniversary design, just biohazard, which has the alt disc art. The games in the 5th anniversary package didn't come in jewel cases, just inthe 5th anniversary holder, with the manuals in a separate pocket i the brief case.

I'm sure someone with the discs can get a pic of the differnces. It's very small, only the 5th anniversay zombie printed on them, on top of whats normally there.

And that list above is VERY comprehensive. You should probably use that one
