In re3 its said you can make upgraded bullets and shotgun shells, Ive tried everything and still have came up emptied handed on how to do this, anyone know how this can be done PS version plz.

Okay, for example:

You collect 8 jars of gunpowder A. If you make 8 sets of bullets out of them, you'll be offered the choice to make enhanced ammo on the eighth try.
This also works for gunpowder B, but not for C.
Also, I can't remember whether it's eight or seven sets you have to make before you can make enhanced ammo.
Note that the 8/7 sets don't have to be in a row.

Don't mix the powders. Just combine A or B and the reloading tool

DON'T mix AA or AAA and then combine with the reloading tool, because then they don't count,

so A A A A A A A A will get you the enhanced bullets. (on the 8th mix IIRC).
But AAA AAA AA will not.

As Gene said, watch what you mix, or you'll end up making grenade rounds. The key is to keep making handgun rounds from the very start, you'll get there faster. Though, most times, I don't seem to get them until the Clock Tower, sometimes just before.

not rly.
IIRC you can't put the enhanced ammo in the guns you make with the parts from Nemesis, so you still fire it pretty slow. Play mercenaries w/ Nicholai to try the handgun (save the woman in the newspaper office), and Mikhail (I forget who drops the enhanced shotgun ammo)

I find, once you've unlocked the infinite ammo it is.

See, my strat is to take on Nemmy in EVERY possible encounter with ONLY the STI Eagle 6.0 ...regular or enhanced ammo, doesn't matter.(OK, Carlos, you have to use the handgun given)

I find it to be the only challenge in the game, sure if your uber professional, go with the default handgun, thats definitely not me . find the STI Eagle just about right for every possible Nemmy fight.(meaning, activate all of them, don't skip any)

It's funny (not ha ha funny), I guess we all play the game a bit differently. For instance, I NEVER make handgun bullets with the gun powder. Firstly there's lots of handgun amo lying around in the game and secondly, I find shooting stuff with the handgun unsatisfying (I can't get no, satisfaction...), even with the enhanced handgun. Instead, I hoard all the powders then just make a shitload of shotgun shells. Later in the game I make a heap of magnum bullets.
I think it's a lot more fun to run around blasting the heads off everything and getting 1 shot kills

Thats the same as fighting Nemmy with a "handgun"?? ...choose at will...shotgun?...sorry, too 'easy'...

Btw, should mention....when using ANY handgun...for EVERY possible encounter with Nemmy, your allowed 1 mixed herb per fight...thats it!..any more, U.S.F. operatives will be on the spot to exterminte you!!! ..

I use flame rounds on Nemmy with lots of success.

Just shoot him like crazy, but make sure your standing on stairs, because he can't grab you on stairs, he can only punch, which is pretty weak. All the flames dropping on the floor makes him flinch quite often, and breaks his attack pattern.

Take a look at this guy on youtube. He's nuts.

Nicholai mercenaries killing EVERYTHING. He also does tofu and hunk killing everything, and heaps of other RE gear.

oh so there was my mistake, is it worth it for the enhaned ammo?

Its been a while, but does the enhanced ammo even work with the STI Eagle 6.0? ...for some reason. I don't think it does, could be wrong...not that it matters if its enahnced or not, thats where I find the challenge, if its regular or enhanced.

Guess its the rate of fire from the STI that counts, that works against Nemmy, between running attacks and/or grabs....the time involved between the number of rounds fired off.

What are we talking about? We went from making handgun ammo to strategies for Nemesis fights, and you've completely lost me.

this looks like a fun convo, with the powder i mostly make shotgun rounds, i played r.e 3 last time just using my shotgun, because iv seen that i always complete that game with like 60 odd rounds of shotgun bullets left, btw i didn't fight nemesis with it of course . i was wondering in the mini game, how do you get an A, because i've saved all ppl, killed the first nemesis, killed nemesis type 2, with around 3-4 mins left. Do you have to kill the two nemesis that you meet near the bar

I hoarded all of the powder and made enough magnum rounds to finish the last 1/3 of the game using only it.
