Supposedly the embargo on CAPTIVATE ends tomorrow morning at 9am (EST), and since Sven seemed to hint that there would be more information regarding RE5 at CAPTIVATE aside from the trailer, we may just find out tomorrow.

I think so too. It's a massive over-reaction. People post ideas for the games on the Capcom boards, but this gets the instant lockdown...there's totally some truth to it.

I'll hold off on posting that embargo news. If it happens, great, but I don't want to lead people on for something that might not happen.

I think that there will be a massive jump in online multiplayer for Resident Evil from now on. Grand Theft Auto has taken the step, and GTAIV's advertising was more than half-multiplayer related. Why shouldn't Capcom be copycats and jump onboard the ship? It would do wonders.

I have an idea: a massive server, with 1000 player zombies, and 1 Chris. Oh yeah!

It's simple ideas like that which make games memorable. That really bad basketball game or something ('Shaq-Fu' I think) was voted the worst game ever, but that made people interested in it. Why not have an incredibly stupid idea and chuck it in? It might just make the game more fun and memorable. 20 multiplayer modes don't sound like a bad idea to me, even if 10 are completely far-out!

That ranks pretty high up there on the BS meter.

But the facts are all there man. I've really, really enjoyed the latest traiors and scrappings from Capcom. As blunt as they can be, they've certainly gave us a tentavive release date of March 2009, and some fairly reliable clues as to when the game will finally be released.

With the amount of stuff being revealed, I wouldn't be suprised if they wrote a detailed plot synopsis, then released it in a hardback book before RE5 actually came out
