That is one scene that never gets old. For some reason I always start wondering, 'Maybe I'be got it wrong and the Licker doesn't attack...crash! CRAP!'

Yea, things like this are missing from the series. Re4, in my opinion, just wasn't scary. I'm just thinking off the top of my head, but I don't think anything had scared me in that game. I also ran through Claire B yesterday, and was...startled...again...

No, that's because he's crap at horror. Done right moments like those are constantly scary, even when you know they're comming, but you need to limit the number of times they happen. RE does use them pretty heavily, but rarely twice in the same way (such as Lickers comming through a window. The only one I can think of is the Dogs do it twice in the director's cut.)Originally posted by BLSR1 View Postyes and its moments like those that made anderson decide that every five minuets a monster needs to jump at the screen in his films.

Another favorite moment of mine is the part where you get attacked by that giant mutant Alligator and have to blow it's head to bits.
I remember completly crapping myself the first time that happened because I didn't know how to kill something so big.
...And then I found that gas tank. ;]

I remember that exact moment in my local theater the day they released RE Apocalypse. A guy scream: "WHAT!? BOOOOOOO!!! BOOOOOOO!!!" and some of us laugh... others just shut the guy up.Originally posted by vogue_dirge View PostWhen Claire dropped her gun and then fell to the floor and caught it, then blew up the gas tanks.
I was like "YOU GO GIRL!"
And then I got mad when they tried to recreate the scene in RE: Apocalypse.
One of my fav moments was the intro of the RE Outbreak File #1. I loved the music 'till I heard it too much and now makes me sick, but the clip is great.

Quoted for truth. The BGM now doesnt have the same effect as it used to. I remember getting goose bumps from hearing it, but now it's more like, "what else is there on my iPod? *next*"Originally posted by Ridley W. It's sad that I used to love this track and now rather listen to "Overkill" from the Resident Evil 2 remix albulm... It's a wierd fusion of different styles of music, from classical, to drums and bass, to techno all in one track and some of it at the same time...

For some reason I like the ending themes to all the old games 1 to 3, and the bio 1.5 tracks, love listening to them on the train closing my eyes and imagining that i'm stood in the RPD's front lobby with the shutter down and the moon light blaring in, like the prologue track from re2 as well, the ones that empower me i suppose
