He's not looking at Excella though. It looks more like a scene where Excella is "introducing" Wesker to whoever he's talking to.

Well, you don't have to look directly at someone when you're talking to them.

It just "fits" the moment when you watch the trailer that she's there and Wesker's talking to her.

Other than speculating for the sake of it though, it's certainly more plausible to think he's talking to Excella who we see there, rather than Spencer (as has been said, Wesker would be talking HIS estate) or Chris (who he last met in CV).

She works for a pharmaceutical company, obviously she could be there for like a hundred reasons! A possible business merger perhaps, perhaps Excella could've sold something to Spencer, perhaps their families are old friends...there could be any reason behind it!

It wouldn't be Spencer, for one, because of that, and two, you'd imagine Wesker would be in regular contact with Spencer for a long, long time, so the last time Spencer would meet Wesker wouldn't have been all those years ago at all!

However...i do like the idea of the Big Stu Estate!

on the contrary i don't find it ridiculous at all, don't forget this is resident evil your talking about, the series isn't exactly known for its sharp dialogue.
