i like Barry, he is my favorite male RE character, he needs more games, i think he could still be in them, it doesn't matter how old he is, capcom doesn't have to set the games now, they could have it set in 1999 or 2000, they could easily have Barry.

and yeah i want to know about Rebecca as well, she's an interesting character.

Poor Barry... He may be the same age as Wesker, but unlike him, he's only human... I think he's probably enjoying early retirement on a beach in Florida.

Barry deserves a lot more attention then he's getting. It was a raw deal for him to be left out of Umbrella Chronicles seeing as he played a big part in the first game. Even Richard got screen time over him and everyone knew he was going to die anyway. I still think Barry's got much to give to the series, and still much to make up to his former team mates for his betrayal. Heck, I even think he and even Rebecca, and maybe Jill (whatever Capcom decide to do with her) deserve to be in a game to fight against Wesker for what he did. I mean, why is Wesker just really focusing on Chris as his rival, didn't technically all the other surviving STARS mess up his plans? Wouldn't he want to take revenge on them, too?

Well, Chris has messed with him twice, so I guess that's the in character reason why Wesker would want him gone most. Of course, the second time Chris mostly got his ass handed to him mostly, and Wesker got everything he wanted, so it was more a 'try to mess with' rather than actually doing anything useful.

I do think Barry will show up again, but it'll be as a support character, repairing guns and supplying ammo. Maybe similar to Drebin in RE5, possibly. Given his age and skills it's probably the best use of the character.

No one has mentioned the fact that Barry was in Re3 when he rescued Jill in the helicopter. So I guess that was him paying back for the betrayal. I think he will have a cameo in Re5 if not Degeneration because I know I heared that one of the two is going to explore what happened to everyone since Racoon City. So I wouldnt be suprised to have some new info on Barry, Rebbeca, Carlos and others in the near future.

But seriously, besides the helicopter rescue in RE3, I think he still owes his friends his service. The epilogue in RE3 even suggested that he was going to be helping out but we've seen nothing of him. (And I'm annoyed Umbrella Chronicles decided to forget he even existed). There is still much more to see from him.

Though maybe he fell into the black hole of Gaiden, never to be seen again...

Kind of defeats the point of it being an epilogue if it happened before the events of the game I figured it was opening for Barry to come in and save his friends again at some point. Its a shame they haven't utilised him, even as background support.

Well, there hasn't been any evidence of Barry doing anything to help AFTER Raccoon City. And I'm pretty sure that if they included him in RE5, it wouldn't be because of the epilogue.

Although can you imagine that? RE5 is over. Barry suddenly runs onto the scene, "I'm here to help! Alright where are the bad guys?"
Chris: "We uh... took care of everything already."
Barry: "Darn... I should have taken the right turn at Albuquerque."
