That was from one of the earliest Biohazard 5 trailers. I feel that the only reason they added it was for dramatic effect, and to hint at that part of the plot.

Massive news, guys. I just recieved confirmation from Jun Takuechi that Resident Evil 6 IS in development. He's also confirmed Chris Redfield to be the main protagonist, once again.

jill fight scenes and why does she look nothing like jill? i mean i can understand the cloths but why is she suddenly blonde with long hair?

About hair length - don't you know that hairs grow? You don't expect a women to have the same haircut for her entire life, do you?

And why is she blonde? It's a result of the virus therapy Jill was through after she was captured by Wesker. You can read about it when you click on that huge monitor on the elevator after the fight with U-8 (that spider-like boss).

That's exactly why they didn't. You're facing a corrupted Jill, one who has been turned to Wesker's side and is his partner, not Chris' partner. Look at her clothes and looks as she stands next to Wesker. She looks similar to him. Battlesuit Jill is a dark puppet, and they're showing that physically by the way she moves and looks.

And they did. Her face is identical to the one from REmake model, they've just changed her hair.

Her hair colour is just an indicator to tell you that she's changed, that she's not Chris' partner anymore. She's Wesker's partner.
