I recently completed Professional with a friend.

I was surprised at how easy it was. Just stick close to each other and heal as soon as the other takes damage. One hit is enough to put you into "Dying" condition, and it takes less than two seconds to die from it.

And infinite ammo Lightning Hawks are a big help, too
