I've heard this as well. Start scrubbin'. D:

I'm at school now and they've blocked Gaia here (bastards!), but when I get home I'll give some more.

        Edit: And here they are!

In REmake, there are two certain camera angles where if you wait long enough, a rhinoceros beetle will crawl across the screen. I think one of them is right around where you insert the crank to drain the water in the garden area before the guardhouse.

The two vests Claire wears (one in RE2 and one in CV/CVX) say "Made in Heaven" and "Let Me Live", respectively. These are both references to Queen songs.

In RE: Survivor, there's a place called Heaven's Night. This is a reference to the strip club of Silent Hill 2 fame. Or rather, SH2 referenced it, having come out a year later. Not sure about this one, but if anyone wants to know where, I can look it up or ask my friend who, unfortunately abdicated for a month. D:

Did you know that Anette Birkin was modeled after Jodie Foster? Or that Alfred Ashford was inspired by Norman Bates?

Here comes a big 'un. I found these on IMDB, and posted them up there a long time ago. And now I post them for you. XD

Did you know that the first RE movie contains constant Alice in Wonderland references?

        - Alice is the main character
        - The computer's name is the 'Red Queen'
        - The Red Queen demands that Rain be beheaded
        - The paperweight used to crush Lisa's head is an Alice in Wonderland paperweight
        - When Alice has the flashback to watching the test of the T-Virus and Anti-virus, a white rabbit is the test specimen
        - In order to get into the Hive, the team goes through a mirrored door akin to Through the Looking Glass
        - The Red Queen doesn't do it herself, but by activating the lasers succeeds in getting something else to behead the medic.
        - Kaplan constantly worries about time like the White Rabbit

Also, it contains references to the games (of course we knew this was coming):

        - Near the beginning, the camera has a major close-up of Alice's eye. This is the background for the start menu of the first Resident Evil game.
        - Alice's "husband", Spencer, shares the same name as the mansion from the first game (The Spencer Estate)
        - After the team returns to the laser hallway a second time, the bodies of the members are gone. "Where are the bodies? Where did they go?" This refers to when you kill a zombie in the games and leave the room, only to return and find they've disappeared.
        - Matt finds his sister Lisa zombified and has to watch her die, much like Steve finds his father zombified and must kill him.
        - In the beginning, the main character has memory loss that returns to them by the end of the game. This is the same as in Resident Evil: Survivor.

Yea they got a big thing for queen lol. Billy Coen's tattoo says "mother love" which is also a queen song.

I guess that's why I love the first RE movie. It was a basic story of Alice and Wonderland. I think for the 3nd movie, there's a track call White Rabbit done by Jefferson Airplane...well a remixed version at best. Anyway, listen to the original song, much better.

I really want to test that Rhino beetle theory. Sounds interesting.

                Here come some more.

In Dead Rising, there's a restaurant called Jill's Sandwiches. There's also a Chris' Fine Foods.

Now this one has a lot of debate. Two people claim it has happened to them, but one person who tried it hasn't been able to recreate the effect. I hope more people will try this out to see what happens!

In REmake, if you stand on Lisa Trevor's cabin porch and stay there for a while, she'll eventually come from behind the house and come after you.

Now, there are a few things people think could factor in. Maybe it's a "first time" thing (aka, the very first time you play, so to recreate this, people play without a memory card), and nobody's sure if they mean before you officially meet her or after. Apparently it takes some time, too, according to the two who said it occurred to them. Ten minutes plus. Like I said, I hope someone can confirm or deny this! Video/pictures would be awesome too.

                Anyway, more "Did You Know?"s.

Did you know that the development team for RE1 was bigger than RE2's? 60 worked on RE1, and 50 on RE2.

Did you know that in RE1/Director's Cut, the cinematic which introduces the Hunter (the classic first person one) was made with the level from the beta version of the game? The level design in the cinematic was from the beta version, and different than in the final version.

Sorry, but I just found this in RE: DS yesterday and I had to share it. Again, sorry for the double-post.

Did you know that (I assume in the original and Director's Cut as well), in RE: DS, the famous letter containing "4// Itchy Tasty", the word "Arklay" is misspelled. They spelled it "Arkley". It was fixed in REmake. I just thought that was pretty cool to share.

Also, did you know that there's a grammatical error in REmake? When you go to use an item that can't be used right there (like a key or emblem, etc.), it says "It's not necessary use this now." It should say "It's not necessary to use this now." For something that pops up somewhat often, you would think they'd notice that.

Nice finds man. I heard that in the remake, if you go into the cemetary behind the mansion and stand over in the patch of grass over by the woods (where there's usually a zombie), supposedly a zombie will tear through the ground or some crap. I've tried it but it never works, although I hear about it all the time...who knows lol.

Yea man, it's a movie theater. I used to hear so many rumors that you could somehow get inside, and fight zombies while the original "night of the living dead" played on the movie screen lol.

I'm certain one is near the pond you drain to enter the labs. I'll have to check the exact angle sometime.

There's also a beetle in RE4. I know there's one on a tree on the way down to the torture shed where you fight Mendez. It's a bit before the merchant, on the right IIRC.

The character of Wesker is modelled on Robert Patrick's performance as the T-1000 in T2.
