Question: Are Duvalias the armored bastards with the tails that are really hard to beat with normal weapons? My friend and I have named them 'Fuckos' affectionately... Well, not affetionately. I won't be inclined to start calling them their real names, Fuckos rings just fine for me, but I'd like clarification.

Given their grotesque appearance, I call them "Cronenbergs" - named after David Cronenberg, who is a well known director of body horror. That's exactly what Duvalias are, they're walking symbols of body horror. An appropriate moniker.

This makes me laugh, because it reminds me of when I was playing co-op with my sister. She's not a regular gamer and she certainly isn't familiar with Resident Evil (except from hearing me gush about it all the time), but I convinced her to play through the main game with me, and somehow she came up with all these silly nicknames for all the enemies. Like, she would refer to the Big Man Majini as "Shirtless Fatty," Duvalias as "Giant Flowers" and then the Giant Wetlands Majini as "King Tut" (?). Hearing someone yell out those names in exaggerated fear was hilarious. Srsly, sometimes it's quite amusing to play video games with people who aren't too familiar with them.

when me and valentinesdead? where playing i would give enemys rediculous names like

megaphone man = megaphone mike
Duvalias = Chad the Crab
Big Man Majini = Lester the molester (from the movie Zack and Miri)
theres a shit ton of other ones i just cant remember them atm.

yup i started calling him that after i heard you say it and it got lodged in my brain, i dont even call him chainsaw majini any more i just call him Chuck

Reaper - Stinkbug
Giant Majini - woop woop, or Three Stooges
Alligators - Apangators (shameless prefix adoption of a word we don't understand in the slightest)
Chainsaw Majini - Nothing *cue horrible imitation of the majini's mad laugh*
