What are the possibilities that Wesker survived?

Ok, can you two explain, just how, and why, Wesker is now better in RE5 than he was before? because for me he felt bland and boring.

BTW Wesker always had a real purpose, we just didn't know what it was until RE5, and it turned out to be rather stupid and boring.

actually wesker did mutated with uroboros, look closely and as much as i like waugh VA, D.C. Douglas just nail it, perfect voice for wesker

personally i didnt like Uroboros. i liked the idea but it just looked too much like the Marcuses leeches tbh and it was boring. if it was a virus that turned people into a tyrant then id have prefered it

I can't decide whether or not I'm glad that they killed him. I guess I would rather that they hadn't, but if that's the way the cookie crumbles, oh well.

Well by looking at the video , some speculate that the rockets actually miss wesker's head and land in the larva instead . The question is now , whether the volcanic liquid explosion was strong enough to kill him

Yes true but now I'm thinking that there is no way Wesker survived this time. Unless he used his "tentacles" as a shield (Which I don't think he did) but either way, the lava should have killed him.

2) The chances of Wesker actually surviving that RPG blast are slim and if that didn't do it then the lava would have.

I think the 'Right to play God' was a natural progression for Wesker. In each game he achieves a goal. With each game he gains more power. With these he focuses on a new, more difficult goal, with a higher pay off for him. Eventually he gains so much power that there is only one thing left for him to try and achieve, and that is to bend Creation itself to his will. Wesker was never going to be satisfied with simple power, or wealth. Let's face it, by the end of Umbrella Chronicles he has enough of both to do pretty much as he wishes.

Yeah i guess so, but they could have always kille dhim before it progressed to that. I think that capcom just went way to far with Wesker's story. maybe he should ahve stayed dead in the mansion and CVX should have never revived him. That way he would have been awesome forever.

He mutated. His glasses sucked and were not even the right color. Sergio Jones was way better. Uroboros was a stupid idea that was just like the leaches from RE0 which everyone says they hated, yet now Wesker''s doing it, it's cool now. RE1 had a much superior script. And Wesker and Chris fights were stupid because it's a Horror game, not a beat em up fighter.

I totaly agree, but i find it annoying how everyone complains about RE0's story and how the leeches were stupid, but now that Wesker has leeches there cool now.

I think I would be one of the people who missvalentine is talking about. I didn't like RE0, but I think the Uroboros (not Aheri though) fights are the best in RE5. I'm having trouble figuring out what this has to do with Wesker though.

Personally they should keep wesker dead and let him die with dignity. RE5 was the end of the umbrella saga of resident evil games. Thats probably why RE6 is going to be a complete reboot because the original series finally had closure, minus a few details missing here an there..cough sherry....

But wesker was badass in 5. We finally saw him get extremely annoyed at someone always interfering with his plans and DC's voice did a much better job than richards in code veronica. Not to mention, graphically wesker was the best we've ever seen....i just can't stop looking at his hair. lol
