Which character would you like to lead RE6?

I think Rebecca is the perfect character to lead RE6 because she is not a fighter.
A fighter is not the desired character you want as a protagonist in a horror game.
Rebecca is a medic or was and is know probably a surgeon somewhere. maybe even treating infected people in the destabilized zones we heard Chris talking about in RE5.
In a Survival Horror game you want the protagonist to be somewhat weak, like James, Harry and Heather are in Silent Hill. they are the perfect protagonists for Survival Horror. and Rebecca and possibly Claire are the closest to that template.
So maybe have an Outbreak in the area Rebecca is in and have her trapped and all alone. so she has to survive agaisnt everything all by herself. it would be awesome and back to the old style RE we love.

Or maybe just REBOOT the whole franchise and use a new character -_-Originally posted by missvalentine View PostI think Rebecca is the perfect character to lead RE6 because she is not a fighter.

Why? why do people want to reboot the entire damned series? why on earth would we want two seperate RE series?Originally posted by BLSR1 View PostOr maybe just REBOOT the whole franchise and use a new character -_-
I would rather RE4 and RE5 be rendered non canon and just restart from CVX. but not an entire reboot.

A reboot is necessary...because the series has gone so far off what it originally was, and years have gone by. Not just years in the games' timeline, but in the real world as well. The story, graphics, and gameplay of the earlier games would be hard pressed to sell on the major game market today with competition from other titles. I don't understand why some fans can't get it through their heads that Capcom isn't making these games for a select few people. They can't dump millions into producing games that won't sell.Originally posted by missvalentine View PostWhy? why do people want to reboot the entire damned series? why on earth would we want two seperate RE series?

You honestly think Capcom will just drop their hands, look at two games that made them a decent amount of profit and say "Yeah....disregard all the events that took place in these two games. It never happened." That's a bit naive. Even if they did what you said, it would still be a major reboot because they would have to reconstruct storylines for characters that have already been closed (IE Jill, Chris, and Wesker). And hell...you could say Degeneration summed up Claire and Leon's stories as well since they both were given well established roles and jobs and are clearly trying to move on with their lives.sigpic
Are you tired, Rebecca?

totally agree exept i picked hunk he was always a misterious char and i think his deads with umbrella should be spotlighted that would give us a chance to go back to when there were still zombies!!Originally posted by ChrisRedfield29 View PostThe last thing this series needs is new characters. There's already a full stable of them who have been sitting around doing absolutely nothing for ten years and Capcom would have a hard time making sense trying to justify their return out of the blue.
I voted for Ada. Her and 'The Organization' need the spotlight.
