Resident Evil 2 Female Zombies have green blood???

Never noticed this before but the female zombies in re2 have green blood on the back of their left leg and knee
I only noticed it cos of the various filters I had turned on whilst emulating it on p64 to improve the graphics.
You can also play as Sherry and use all the weapons as normal, it appears there was to be another costume for Claire as well for the n64 version but for some reason it didn't make it

How odd about the green blood...
Could just be a mistake, or it was put in there to see if anyone noticed orrrr i could over analyze it and say its rotting flesh.

I think the green blood is on the original art for the RE2 zombies as well. Much like when RE had green blood instead of the red blood.

Ahh a female RPD outfit, would have been interesting to see.

if you start the game you can choose between red,green and blue blood..

But that's only in the N64 version of the game.

My guess is that it's just a blurred texture, probably meant to be part of the "fabric" on the jeans, or shading.
I think Andyfer might be right though, it could just be rotting flesh.

Maybe it's some fungus growing on her leg. Is there a pic of Claire in the RPD uniform?

I know she even borrows the texture for Hunk's glove on her right hand.
Oh and about Claire she doesn't appear as Claire with her head but as Leon in his RPD costume glitched and scrunched up like it's using the rigging from Claire instead.

Interesting, would love to see Claire in an RPD putift, wish there was artwork to go along with the missing costume.

Maybe it was for the orange Claire it seems to fit the N64 alternative
costume styles better. Seems kinda daft only giving Claire one alternative costume whilst Leon gets two it's pure favoritism.
