Wait... so... I was fooled all this months? Once I felt that it was the joke of this year I never checked the thread again... who'd have know that it was real afterall. Cool.

Ha ha, I remember it was funny when it turned out what Carnivol said was real!
I can't wait for this year's April's Fools!

But as part of the moderation team, you're by default not eligible to receive the prize, just like site staff... sorry
(But, yes, it was real; I even wrote a tiny guide on how to find the data yourself
)

I seem to recall that the joke was no one would believe it could be real and it actually is...unless my mind has finally gone completely.

Same reason stuff like this and this sticks around on released discs. Not to mention how "Complete Disc" (disc 2 from Biohazard - Director's Cut - Dual Shock Ver.) has the graphical assets for an English title screen and menu on the disc along with the Japanese counterparts, despite never being released in English.Originally posted by Robert_Kendo View PostBut why is this pic on the disc?

I've told before how to rip the disc nobody here is willing to rip the disc other than you doing yourself your at a dead end. How did you get that image anyway if you can't make GCM's?
and if you need retelling SD-Boot v.04 is by far the easiest way to rip a GC disc all it needs is a Wii or GC, SDML and a 2GB or above SD card.

Probably because the E3 demo is the same demo as the Japanese shop demo, so they just had that image lying around in their folders.

No, we would have know about any pressed discs given out like that. If there was an E3 demo, it would have been only on NR discs ("GC CD-Rs") which were playable in the Capcom booths for the game. Such discs are always kept by Capcom.
