Resident Evil 2 gamesave question

Does anyone know if the original PS1 release and the Dual Shock edition share the same save data?

I have PS3 saves from the Japanese PSX versions that can be hacked to work with the USA version. Did you want all the saves from the Japanese versions?

I have complete saves from all the Japanese RE's on my PS3 right now and I do have a Memory Card adapter to back them up. Everything is unlocked in all of them, even Gun Survivor.

If you need them I'll upload them to my FTP account on my site for you.

I'm not actually after savegames. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.

I already have some savegames from my PS1 disc. The thing is the version of the game I have was the original release that didn't come with the dual shock features. The version thats up on the PSN is the dual shock edition and I was wondering whether my existing savegames will still be compatable. Like how the original RE5 savegames are compatable with the Gold Edition release.

OH I misread the question!!

But the answer to your question is yes. They both share the same data. I've loaded BH2 saves on BH2DS and played them no problem.
