MK started to fail after 3, otherwise the first three were solid. The only faults in 3 was infinites. Otherwise it WAS balanced.

The series is going back to it's roots, and videos prove it, hence why it should be an awesome game, and hopefully better

I don't know, both titles look awesome and I'll do my best to get both. I have soft spot for "old-school" fighters (even though I suck at them LOL).

Still waiting for my dream crossover: STREET FIGHTER VS MORTAL KOMBAT. Never say never kiddies, there have been some bizarre crossovers lately and I think anything can happen if the money & timing is right.

Evo is considering MK to be a tournament game.

MK is back in 2D with millions of combos (youtube mileena mk)

Just because there are lot's of combos doesn't make it balanced, and judging from MKs past, it'll be stiff and not very fun.

MK is actually doing what the fans want, while Capcom adds in stupid filler.

From what I can tell, MvC3 is what the fans wanted for years

They drastically reduced the roster from MvC2 to 3.

How is that a measurement for quality? Didn't MK start spamming characters in it's later games? Isn't it a smaller roster now?
