If you buy Operation Raccoon City, which system are you buying it for? I'm just curious, because I may want to join you guys in the online games if you guys are playing, and there are 3 different networks.

This sucks because I won't be able to afford two copies and some of my friends are split on the PS3 and PC versions. It'll be one of those two though. I'll figure it out when the time gets closer and which majority of my friends are getting which version.
I'd kinda like the PC version though, simply because I'd like to see if some mods come out for it.sigpic

An option for multiple would be nice. However, my brother's 360 shat itself out for the third time (his second system might I add), and he bought a ps3 as well. So with my system being a ps3 and his being one as well, and me not being the collector I used to be due to financial constraints...I'm sticking to ps3 (for now anyway)sigpic
Are you tired, Rebecca?

If I decide to get this game, it's hands down the ps3. My 360 these days is nothing more than a paperweight at which my laptop sits on. . . .and seldomly do I actually play a game on it. All my online friends are on PS3 as well, so it's pretty much a non-brainer--not to mention the PS3's graphics may be slightly better than the 360's, but that's nothing more than a possible nice perk.sigpic

I'll be getting it on the PS3 to play with Smiley and a few friends, however I know a few people in the modding community will be rubbing their hands together and grinning when a test comes out for the PC version so they can get a head start on fiddling with it.
Can't wait to mod it.

Actually graphics will probably be worse on PS3 than on the 360, as most multiplatform games are developed for the 360 and then ported to the PS3, which has to "do best" with what it's got to produce the same results. DR2 for example suffered from poorer graphics than it's 360 counter part due to the lack of anti aliasing, making graphical edges jagged and shadows more pronounced. I traded that shit in and got my self a 360, it was that bad. Of course this isn't always the case, especially for games like FFXIII, but it seems a general rule of thumb that the weaker system has a better with multiplatform games.Originally posted by valentinesdead? A couple years ago this was mostly the case with ports and multiplats, but nowadays, not so much. You have your occasional crappy or flawed ps3 port, but alot of developers now lead their development on ps3, then port to 360, because they've realized that its easier to port ps3 code to 360, rather than vice-versa, which resulted in the ton of crappy ps3 ports from back in the day. But yes, there are still a few wandering out there though.Originally posted by geluda View PostActually graphics will probably be worse on PS3 than on the 360, as most multiplatform games are developed for the 360 and then ported to the PS3, which has to "do best" with what it's got to produce the same results. If I get a PS3 by then, I'll buy it for the three systems, first Xbox of course, since most of my buddies are on Live.Originally posted by Zombie Fred View PostAll of them.
