My reaction? Not sure what you mean. I understand if you disagree. You at least take it more kindly than News Bot has with the harsh replies. But all I ask for is an open mind. Is Capcom really that noble and all of this is merely one big coincidence?

Tool who reads too deeply into stuff to find undertones that don't exist and then makes up retarded arguments and claims they were all intentional so some devious Japanese video game developers could cackle maniacally while cracking their whips over some dark-skinned native slaves from the African hinterlands? Check.Originally posted by Smiley View PostI'm sure that's how it sounded. Capcom is rather simple at times and likely didn't think too much of it when the teasers came out. But there's no denying that changes were made in favor of the black community. Again all you had to do is see what was changed.
A more diverse African population? Check. Expanding the supporting role of Sheva as a main lead that you can play from beginning to end? Check. Keeping Josh alive while we kill off the other BSAA members? Check. Giving Wesker a few white supporting villains who also take advantage of the infected Africans for profit or loyalty? Check.
Your main mistake is automatically assuming those "changes" were done as part of an attempt to crack down on racism because you seem to have a hard-on for showing how "culturally aware" you are. Clearly forgetting that A) The "African population" (which you assume must be entirely black because HEY! AFRICA! BLACK PEOPLE! AFRICA!) was already diverse in the first trailer. B) Sheva was always an important supporting character whose role changed many times. They decided to implement co-op, but had no partner character for Chris since the storyline from the beginning had Jill "dead". So they made Sheva the character since her role was already the same. C) Why the fuck should Wesker, who is already a person who doesn't give a shit about any human being, specifically have a black subordinate? That is contrived. I'm going to just call you a fucking idiot for that because that's all you deserve for such a moronic argument.Last edited by News Bot; 09-20-2011, 02:39 PM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

He doesn't melt, so clearly was not infected with a plaga. Straight up murder of an innocent man by Leon.Originally posted by Smiley View PostActually it does. Have you proven that the man Leon encounters in RE4 was infected? You can't.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

Don't you get it!? The black mercenary in BH3 was from Suriname! He was not an African pure blood! If he was he would have been a secret spy for Wesker and would have survived blowing himself up to become the main villain of BH6!Originally posted by rehunk88 View Postre 5 takes place in africa the whole point is because it leads back to the virus´s begining so of course they will have to shoot at black people they are those who are infected i dont see why this is racist ? we shot so many other zombie/ganadosmajinins ...

You say that, but again I've shown the teasers here. You don't see a black co-op partner cause there was none. You don't see a diverse population of infected because there was none. These didn't happen until later.Originally posted by News Bot View PostTool who reads too deeply into stuff to find undertones that don't exist and then makes up retarded arguments and claims they were all intentional so some devious Japanese video game developers could cackle maniacally while cracking their whips over some dark-skinned native slaves from the African hinterlands? You are being far more outrageous than I realized. You're acting very aggressive over one man's opinion backed up by things people can clearly see with their own eyes.
Could very well be. Just ask yourself: How would you respond to some armed stranger walking into your house spouting nonsense? I personally would be scared, but I wouldn't doubt some would be more protective of their property and defend themselves.Originally posted by KylieDog View PostHe doesn't melt, so clearly was not infected with a plaga. None of the Ganado or Majini melt from a story perspective. They only melt in gameplay for technical reasons, because as it happens, having stuff lying everywhere tends to clog up system memory. The first Majini does not melt either, despite being infected only seconds prior.Originally posted by KylieDog View PostHe doesn't melt, so clearly was not infected with a plaga. Smiley probably thinks it's a conspiracy though and they could have infinite numbers of enemies on screen at one time if they wanted.
What teasers? The first teaser doesn't even show any enemies aside from vague shadows (which you probably interpret as "black people", since that's the logic you permeate in this topic so far). The second one outright shows multiple races. You don't see a black co-op character because this was still really fucking early in development and they hadn't decided to implement co-op yet.Originally posted by Smiley View PostYou say that, but again I've shown the teasers here. I'm being outrageous because I really can't believe how thick and contrived you are, and you don't help when you intentionally troll and goad for a response to stupid shit.Last edited by News Bot; 09-20-2011, 02:49 PM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

Again, why are you being so angry? Can you not accept that some people find these mere "coincidences" a little more than just that?
Would you seriously tell someone they shouldn't believe Krauser and Leon were more than simple comrades just because you refuse to accept the undertones of RE4 and Darkside Chronicles?
I don't think the thrill of killing zombies matters to gamers, but to single them out based on color?Originally posted by rehunk88 View PostI had such a good time shooting the black people in re 5 :3

There are no "undertones", there is only you making things up to either try and be funny or show how much better you are than anyone else on this forum at picking things up about how evil Capcom is when it comes to anything other than straight vanilla fictional characters. Unless you look at two soldiers and instantly scream YOU TWO ARE TOTALLY TAKING EACH OTHER UP THE DIRT ROAD.Originally posted by Smiley View PostAgain, why are you being so angry?
