Play co-op, 2 people means less time so more points, avoid damage, have high accuracy, try get bonuses. I just beat Infernal mode a third time. Now I've got :6x Damage 7, 3x Reloader 2, 3x Burst 5, 4x Long Magazine 5, 4x Stopping Power +500%.
I mainly use the PC356 with 5 upgrade slots. It's a beast weapon with Damage 7, Burst 5, Fire Rate 4, Stopping Power +500%, Long Magazine 5.
I also unlocked the infinite ammo Rocket Launcher. That's such a throwback weapon to the classic games. Now this even makes Infernal quite easy, well on Jills parts it is.

You know, I sometimes wondered why I couldn't search the corpse of a zombie I just killed, especially cop ones, just to see if they had any ammo around when I was a pre-teen playing RE.
